How does Crystal Jewelry Benefit the wearer?

Wearing Crystal and Stone jewelry is one of the easiest ways to connect with and work with these powerful beings and tools in our daily lives.

Crystals hold higher more stable vibrational frequencies than humans do, because they have a geometrically perfect, fixed repeating molecular structure and pattern. Crystals can help us to change our own individual energy frequencies by the principle of entrainment. In simple terms entrainment is when our body's frequency synchronizes with the energetic properties of the crystal.   The crystal's ability to amplify, focus and transmit energy will entrain with our energy frequency. When we work with a crystal's vibration, we raise our own personal vibration, bringing harmony and healing, a balanced state of energy and overall wellness. 

Due to the chaotic world we live in we are easily thrown out of balance as our energetic bodies are always moving and responding to situations, circumstances, and our environment. Using Crystals as tools and allies, we can work to strengthen our energetic boundaries and our bodies.  

Working with Crystals is the easiest way to quickly come into balance and harmony and strengthen our energetic bodies, which in turn strengthens our physical, mental and emotional bodies, and can help us grow and deepen into our personal Spiritual Journeys. 

What is Electroforming?

Earth & Light jewelry is handmade from start to finish through a process called Electroforming, which at it's core is a scientific process. Electroforming uses an electric current and an acid-based solution to deposit and grow copper on a non-conductive object over a varying period of time from 12-36 hours or more, depending on the size and detail of the piece.

It's a challenging and unpredictable process that results in beautiful, organic looking, one-of a-kind and unique pieces.

Each piece is as unique as the wearer. Almost all pieces are completely one of a kind due to design, stone selection, colour and the unique metal formation process. Even if the design is replicated, small differences will be present.

What are the benefits of wearing copper?

Copper is an excellent conductor of energy, helping to clear out negativity and helping to balance the Chakras.

Copper is the third most common trace mineral within our bodies and is used widely in industry from electrical wires, pipes in housing, to copper utensils and drinking vessels.

Copper is naturally anti-microbial, anti-fungal and has been used by humanity for millennia.  

It is able to magnify energy transfers meaning that the wearer can soak up every ounce of healing when the metal is used with healing minerals and crystals.

Copper can improve blood circulation and is widely known for it's ability to reduce stiff joints, aches and pains.

 Will your copper rings turn my finger green?

It all depends on the chemistry of your skin! This is not an allergic reaction, it is a harmless reaction that happens to some in the early days of wearing copper on the skin, and is dependent on your personal fluctuating PH levels. Most people find that as they wear their copper pieces more the reaction diminishes. As your body chemistry reacts with the metal, a protective oxide layer will begin to form on the side of the copper that touches against your skin, helping to minimize the reaction.

Any green marks on the skin can be removed with washing with soap and water.

I do not seal the pieces so that you can benefit from the amazing properties of copper on the skin. If you wish, you may put a coat of clear nail polish on the inside of the ring band to help prevent against greening of the finger, however this will wear away over time and need to be repeated if desired.

How should I care for my jewelry pieces?

Electroformed Pieces:

It is best to avoid wearing your jewelry while exercising, swimming, bathing or sleeping, and keeping your piece stored in a cloth, zip lock or sealable bag can extend the life and beauty of your pieces.

Copper naturally tarnishes over time and in contact with air and water, as well as with contact with lotions, perfumes and detergents. Some pieces will be left shiny copper and others have been oxidized to reach a patina / antiqued finish.

If you prefer a polished shiny look, you can easily do this with several household products. The best results are obtained by rubbing the piece with either ketchup, toothpaste or vinegar and salt, then rinsing with water and polishing with a dry soft cloth.

If your piece is tarnished or patinaed when you receive it, using the above methods could remove the antiqued look completely, so it is best to not alter the piece too much with polishing or cleaning.

 All other jewelry pieces: 

It is best to avoid wearing your jewelry while exercising, swimming, bathing or sleeping, as well, keeping your piece stored in a cloth, zip lock or sealable bag when not in use, can extend the life and beauty of your pieces.

Clearing & Cleansing your jewelry:

If your piece begins to feel energetically heavy, give it a cleanse by either leaving it in the light of the Sun or Moon, or passing it through Sage, Cedar or Palo Santo smoke. As well a quick re-tune with sound such as tuning forks, bells, singing bowls or loud music is extremely effective.

You can set intention with any of our crystal pieces by sitting in silence, holding the pieces in your hand and stating your intention. Sit with this intention for as long as feels right for you.

How is Reiki infused into Jewelry?

All pieces are created with love, joy and intention that it will assist you along your personal spiritual journey, made with the Highest Intentions for the highest good of the wearer, utilizing Reiki symbols and intention during the creation process.

Prior to the piece being available for offer in person and/or before being shipped to you, each piece is smudged, cleansed and infused with Reiki energy.

Ring Size

The best way to determine an accurate ring measurement is to go to a jewelry store. This just takes a few minutes and will ensure your ring will fit.

Bracelet Sizes

To measure the size of your wrist, please wrap a length of string around your wrist and cut to desired fit, then lay the string against a ruler. Please add 1/2 - 1" for comfort and depending on how fitted you would like the bracelet to be on your wrist.

Women's Bracelet Sizes: 

X Small: 5.5"

Small: 6"

Medium: 7"

Large: 8"

X Large: 9"

Men's Bracelet Sizes:

X Small: 6.5"

Small: 7"

Medium: 8"

Large: 9"

Necklace Lengths

Each chain length will be specified, please take into consideration that any pendants will change the length of where the necklace ends on your body.

Please refer to the chart below for an approximation of where different chain lengths will fall.

Shipping

Shipping is offered through Canada Post with discounted rates offered from Shopify Shipping.

Processing & Shipping

Please allow for 1-5 business days (excluding ALL holidays that fall on business days) for order processing and packaging before your order is shipped. Shipping times vary.

Please confirm that your address is correct before submitting your final order. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items or items that do not get to you because of an incorrect address.

Do you offer local pick up?

Yes! There is an option for local pick up at Invati Yoga & Wellness Kelowna. Please note that this option will be by appointment only! My hours vary and when I am in my healing space I could be in sessions with clients, so dropping in without an agreed upon appointment is not an option. Please choose the pick up option at the time of check out, when your order is complete and ready an email will be sent to you to discuss a date and time for you to come pick up your package.

Returns

We do not accept returns or exchanges. All sales are final. Please be sure about the item before you submit your order. The only exception to this is in the case of missing items or the wrong items being sent. If your order is missing an item or if you have received the wrong item, please reach out by email to earthandlight3@gmail.com within 48 of receiving your order to discuss a resolution.

If you are ordering a ring, and are unsure about your ring size, the best way to obtain an accurate measurement is to go to a jewelry store and have your finger sized. This will only take a few minutes and will ensure that your ring will fit.

What if my order arrives damaged?

Earth & Light is not responsible for any lost or damaged goods due to carrier mishandling. However, in the instance that your package is damaged, please reach out via email or a direct message on our social media channels. We will evaluate damaged goods on a case by case basis.

Can I cancel my order?

If a shipping label has not been created prior to your need to cancel, you may cancel your order for a full refund. If a shipping label has been created but your order has not been dropped at the post office, you may cancel for a full refund for the items, but you will still be charged for shipping since your label has already been purchased. If you need to cancel an order for any reason, please reach out by emailing earthandlight3@gmail.com
